Roger Hecker MD internal medicine specialist announcement
Advocate Medical Group, based in Oak Brook, Ill., has announced the addition of board-certified internal medicine specialist Roger Hecker, MD, to its growing number of physicians. Dr. Hecker is practicing at the Advocate Medical Group office at 550 N. Lake Street, in Mundelein, Ill.
A biochemistry major with distinction from the University of Illinois, Urbana, Dr. Hecker earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He then completed both an internal medicine internship and an internal medicine residency at Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital in Baton Rouge, La.
In addition to chairing the EMR task force and technology committee at the Baton Rouge Clinic, Dr. Hecker has also served as the senior aviation medical examiner, providing FAA physicals.
