Before becoming president of Advocate Medical Group, Dr. James Dan served as chair of the Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital Governing Council, medical director of Advocate Home Health Care, and president of Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Staff. He was also president of the DuPage Medical Group and chair of Access DuPage, a program assuring access to care for the uninsured.
Dr. Dan graduated from Providence College summa cum laude. He went on to hear his M.D., Alpha Omega Alpha, from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine and completed in an internal medicine residency at Loyola University Hospital. Dr. Dan is board certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine. He practiced medicine for over 26 years and is a Society Fellow in the American College of Physicians.
Vice President Business Development, Advocate Medical Group
Rick Idemoto leads the teams responsible for acquisition and network planning and development for Advocate Medical Group. Other critical functions of the role include identifying and executing new patient growth and retention strategies.
Idemoto previously served as vice president of business development at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Ill. He has also held positions at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, NorthShore University and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, all in the Chicagoland area.
Idemoto completed his bachelor’s degree at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, Calif. He received master’s of business administration and master’s of health policy and administration degrees from Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Penn.
Vice President HR and Workforce Planning and Staffing, Advocate Medical Group
Bonnie began her career in healthcare at Mercy Hospital in Chicago where she worked as an RN. She spent two years in a post surgical unit then moved to the Operating Room where she worked in the Open Heart service and was a clinical coordinator. She also assisted in nurse recruitment for the hospital.
In 1989 Bonnie joined Lutheran General Hospital as a nurse recruiter and later took the position of Regional Manager of Recruitment for the North Region of Advocate Health Care. She moved back to the Oak Brook Support Center to the role of Physician Recruiter for the system eventually moving into the Director role. Her career in HR moved into operation through her acceptance of a manager role at Illinois Masonic Medical Center then moved back to the support center as Director of Prosource and eventually Workforce Planning and Staffing. In 2008, Bonnie was pleased to join AMG as their Vice President of Human Resources, while continuing on with her system accountabilities.
Bonnie attended Lutheran General and Deaconess Hospitals School of Nursing, Northeastern Illinois University and Concordia University.
Chief Medical Officer, Advocate Medical Group

As chief medical officer of Advocate Medical Group, the largest medical group in the region, Dr. Kevin McCune is charged with championing excellent clinical outcomes from administration to direct patient care. Prior to this role, Dr. McCune was medical director at Advocate Lutheran General Health Partners and served as a board member to Advocate Medical Group, Advocate Physician Partners, Advocate Hospice and Advocate Lutheran General Health Plan.
Dr. McCune brings more than 20 years of clinical experience to AMG, along with extensive experience in hospice and palliative care. McCune earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago. During his residency in family medicine at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, he was selected to serve as chief resident and also received the Resident Teaching Award.
Vice President Outpatient Enterprise Care Management, Advocate Medical Group

Sharon Rudnick holds the position of vice president of Outpatient Enterprise Care Management for both the Advocate Medical Group and the Advocate system. In her role, Sharon is responsible for directing outpatient Care Management and Disease Management activities to support the most at risk patients in the outpatient setting across the system. Her care management staff also supports the Hospitalist and Geriatrics teams in the Advocate Medical Group.
Sharon holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from St. Louis University and a Bachelor's in Science and a Bachelor's in Arts also from St. Louis University.
Stephen R. Voss
Vice-President Finance/CFO, Advocate Medical Group

Stephen Voss brings nearly 30 years of fiscal management experience to Advocate Medical Group/Ambulatory Services, which includes than 850 physicians caring for patients in more than 110 locations. Prior to Advocate Medical Group, Voss served as executive director of Elmhurst Clinic for 10 years. Voss also spent eight years as vice president of finance for Dreyer Medical Clinic, a multispecialty medical group that joined the Advocate Health Care family in 1996.
Voss is a certified public accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Northern Illinois University.
